Cons: The only fault after 5 years of use concerns the eye relief. The adjustment is sloppy and vague. What\'s worse is that the rubber cups have become unglued from the steel sleeves that rotate to move in and out. That, in turn, means that they can fall off when removing the rain guard. (I expect this could have been remedied under the lifetime guarantee, but I live too far from the dealer.)
Pros: Optical quality is excellent, comparing favourably with my wife\'s Swarovski ELs, but at a quarter of the price. The Vipers are a lighter, too, and I prefer to use them.
Summary: Very good value for money. They were chosen because of their (then) top-ten ranking at Allbinos.com, and their low price. No regrets at all.
