Cons: None
Pros: Clear, crisp image. Well made, perfect fit in your hands. Lens never fog, in any humidity or temp. The BAs are awesome, BNs are even better. Leica does not make anything like these anymore.
Summary: Buy them.

Cons: Cost: Leica binoculars are known for their premium quality, but they also come with a high price tag. The cost may be a significant consideration for budget-conscious consumers. Weight: Some may find that Leica 8x32 BN binoculars are relatively heavy compared to other models in the same category - especially the more recent models using the latest materials. This could impact long-term comfort during extended use.
Pros: Optical Clarity: Leica is renowned for its high-quality optics, and the 8x32 model is no exception. Users often highlight the outstanding clarity, sharpness, and colour reproduction, providing a superior viewing experience. Build Quality: Leica is known for its exceptional craftsmanship, and the 8x32 binoculars are typically praised for their robust construction and durable materials. The build quality contributes to the longevity of the product. Excellent Low-Light Performance: With a moderate aperture size, the Leica 8x32 binoculars still perform well in low-light conditions. This makes them suitable for various outdoor activities, including birdwatching and stargazing. Precise and Smooth Focus: Users often appreciate the smooth and precise focus adjustment mechanism on Leica binoculars. This feature allows for quick and accurate focusing on subjects, enhancing the overall usability. Premium Design: Leica places a strong emphasis on aesthetics, and the design of the 8x32 binoculars reflects a sleek and elegant appearance. The attention to detail in the design adds to the overall appeal of the product. Long Eye Relief: The binoculars provide long eye relief, making them comfortable for extended use, especially for individuals who wear eyeglasses.
Summary: If you get a chance to pick up a used pair, especially in very good/ mint condition, then buy them. A classic binocular that never disappoints me after using mine for 20 years.

Cons: Silver coated prisms aren\'t as bright as current dielectric models. Though not heavy (22 ounces), many 8x32s are lighter now.
Pros: Eye relief is perfect for me w/o glasses. The optics are very sharp with excellent color and contrast. The focuser is quick, smooth, and precise. Very robust build quality. Carry and handle well.
Summary: Every time I get the bug to consider the latest high end binoculars I just have to pick up my trusty Trinovids and I ask myself, why? They are classic.

Cons: No Objective lens covers. No "Aquadura" coatings.
Pros: Incredibly crisp image. Awesome glass, excellent contrasting image.
Summary: An absolute classic. If you can find a BA or BN model in mint condition, buy it. I bought mine in mint condition 2 years ago, sent them back to Leica to be refurbished (which took all of 2 weeks and was done superbly) and now I have a new pair of one of the best binos ever produced. Love them. Only wish they had the "Aquadura" coating as they will fog with my breathing when it's cold far more than my Ultravids but overall they are awesome. I'd put them against anything on the market today in this category for image....

Cons: Tad bulky compared to todays offerings
Pros: Crystal clarity of the leaded glass unequaled. Sharp and bright
Summary: I have the 8x32 BA and it is an absolute gem. The "look" of these lead glass versions are so much more pleasing to the eye (IMO). They produce a more "natural" look and a beautifully relaxed experience. I do not think any manufacturer has equalled the look from this classic...even Leica's New offerings in the HD version seem to produce a harsh image as compared to the beauty and subtle tones of the original Trinovid BA. A masterpiece not yet equalled in my books.
