Pros: Resa globale ottica da binocolo moderno, sia al centro che ai bordi.Inciso. ottimo nel cielo sia su cavalletto che in panning in natura, stabile per un 12x,piu\' del mio Nikon 10x35 E2

Summary: L\'essenza del binocolo classico e prestazionale.

Cons: Only one: the tripod adapter outlet is of an unusual size (what size? seems to be smaller than 3/8 inch). I have not yet found a safe of mounting the binoculars on a tripod.

Pros: Wonderful optics. I purchased these binoculars for a song during a trip to East Berlin before the wall came down.

Summary: Very happy with these binoculars. I would appreciate any help with mounting them on a tripod.

Cons: Eye cups where wasted, i called Docter Optic, and the send me a new pair what fits perfectly. Bino is quite heavy. Original strap is crap, there is a need to replace it with a more comfy one.

Pros: for a 12x50 its possible to use it shakeless in hand without tripod. Clear view, good diopter adjustment (if u need glasses like me).

Summary: I have the B-GA version, full rubber. Love these ones, the design is oldfashion but still nice. I can recommend it highly, got my second hand on ebay. Price is between 350- 580 euros.

Cons: Rubber eyepiece surround needed replacing.

Pros: My favourite astronomical bino, for the suburbs ideal as the power darkens the field compared with lower powers. Seals give the impression they are water resistant.superb stellar images. With support, planetary moons visible. 3D views with normal use.

    Summary: Superb.

Cons: the only disadvantage of this pair of binoculars is that you can not use the filters like in the old days of Zeiss Jena. Every modern binocular has this disadvantage... I have several other old Zeiss binocs, and I love to use the orange, green and special filters to look at our sun.. These filters really add to the experience you can have of top level German optics! Get them if you have the chance.

Pros: Pros? I would say : very solid, prism binoculars..hence the magnificent 3D view, very sharp image throughout the field of view..and much more water resistant as usually considered!! really!

Summary: The absolute summit of Zeiss Jena production. Can be bought new from a shop in Scotland ( nov 2015) as we speak. Worth every penny :-)..or euro or whatever.. Friends of mine have other high quality optics like Swarovski, Leica, etc..and quiet honestly they do not compare to Zeiss Jena..

Cons: Not fully waterproof, not really a con, just something I need as I use it at the waterways.

Pros: Sharp, great color, controls flare very well.

Summary: Very nice 12x. I have a Leica 12x50 as well and the Carl Zeiss is more three dimensional and realistic in its view. Great piece of glass.

Cons: Price was a big factor when I bought these, but they are worth every cent.

Pros: Optical brilliance, very very sharp and good color.

Summary: I highly recommend this binocular if you can find one.
