Cons: Expensive and heavy.... but you are not going to be moving them too much anyway. Some consider the Straight trough design to be a con, but it is better for terrestrial use, and for astronomy use I mount them in a Starchair 3000, so its no really a con to me.
Pros: Excellent optics. I have the 25x150MT and the 40x150ED. Compared to the Chinese BT 150, the superiority of optic quality is more than evident. The EDs are better color corrected but not entirely apochromatic. Also the 40x150ED's are better corrected to the edges, the 25xMts have their last 3% out of focus. Stars are pinpoints almost to the very edge. No coma at all.
Summary: The best of the best, if you can afford them, you wont regret buying those, but should consider their weight so a dedicated, semi permanent observing site may be better
