Cons: Focus movement very slightly uneven at new but seems to be improving with use - greasing problem. Not important though. I have some worries about the fragility/replacability of the extending plastic eyecups but I have the same doubts about lots of bins and, so far, I have had no problems. The case is a bit tight but I never use it.
Pros: Compact but not too small, nice covering, and excellent image quality and brightness. Over the years I\'ve used top quality Leica, Zeiss, Pentax ED, Fujinon, and Nikon and, all round, these are enjoyable as any (although top marks for sharpness probably goes to the Fujinon 7x50 IF. Good guarantee, as long as it works.
Summary: My sale price was roughly half the full price (at least of some dealers\') so an out-and-out bargain at that level. Even at the full price I think they are a worthy alternative to the Conquest-level bins and recommend people give them a try. Made in Europe too!
