Overall
Owner since: 3 months
Price: £359
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Slight rolling ball effect but eye adjusts quickly to this. Not the absolute last word in sharpness but close enough. First one had specks of dust inside from manufacturing but replaced by shop so no biggie.
Pros: Very large FOV and therefore sweet spot, so good you forget 6.5x magnification. Bright clear image and fab near focus at 1.6m. Great depth of field and feels easy in the hands with its’ construction and weight. And what value for money, I really wasn’t expecting this quality for £359.
Summary: Well done Kowa. This may well be the perfect travel binocular- light but solid, great optics, anyone in the family can use with its’ lower magnification and stunning image too. At this price they deserve to sell like hot cakes!
