Overall
Owner since: 2 years
Price: $ 700
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Not waterproof. Bit heavy and bulky.
Pros: Outstanding \"instrument\" built quality. Excellent optical quality. Easy view very good picture. Easy to hand hold stable. Bright at night. Robust and functional. Built like it will last forever.
Summary: Super binocular. Unfortunately not made anymore. My favorite. Using it for deer and nature observation, airplanes, ships at sea from coastlines, sometimes basic stargazing. Carry it on longer walks.

Cons: Could have better edge of field correction. But that would probably increase the price.
Pros: Very sharp, excellent coatings, tough and very well made. Nice wide field of view. Great for hand held astronomy and versatile for general daytime use. Old fashioned rubber eyecups are very comfortable.
Summary: My favorite binocular for handheld astronomy in the suburbs.

Cons: None really, could be waterproof, but that is not a must.
Pros: Super sharp and very bright and clean image. Excellent handling and balance. One of the best, if not best 10x porro's I have used to date.
Summary: Overall an excellent optic with outstanding resolution. I have a pair of 10x42 Zeiss FL T and the Nobilem is a fraction sharper and out-resolves the FL by a hair..now that is saying a lot about this binocular.
