Cons: One objective cover is so loose it falls out. Slightly stiff focus
Pros: Amazing brightness, edge to edge sharpness, build quality feels alpa-esque, 1.25 turns to focus, price, amazing ~3m close focus
Summary: I am really impressed with these. They are unbelievably bright and the images are crystal clear. Edge detail is very sharp. I\'m sure alpha-glass regulars may find fault, but for my eyes these beat out the Nikon Monarch 7 by a lot as well as the Meopta Meopro. The Zeiss Conquest was comparable and perhaps slightly better. I also tried Zeiss Terra, Bushnell Legend HD, Vortex Diamondback (maybe not a fair comparison,) Nikon Monarch 5, Leupold BX-T HD. The Vanguards are that good, despite my best efforts to find something better in their price range (and beyond.)
