Cons: The focusing wheel has about 15° of backlash. The rubber material of the eye caps and focusing wheel tend to gather dust particles (dust sticks to the rubber). The eye cups are somewhat wobbly. Their outer diametre is only just acceptable for people with a tight interpupilary distance (like me, having 61 mm). The housing is rather long (about 150 mm with eyepiece and objective caps fitted). The binoculars are rather heavy (about 800 g). There is a serial no. on the housing, but it is only affixed to it, not engraved. The tripod exit is situated far from the mass centre. The manufacturer seems to have problems with production/delivery to dealers since at least December 2017.

Pros: Imaging Quality • very low distortion • very low chromatic aberration • image sharpness very good in the centre, good towards the edge of the field • very good colour rendition • good contrast • low level of scattered light caused by bright objects in or outside the field of view Focusing • total focusing range corresponds to about 1.4 turns (about 500°) of the focusing wheel • the rubberised focusing wheel is smooth-running • for dioptre adjustment there is a knurled wheel positioned centrally in the hinge that can be pulled out / pushed in to be unlocked / locked; no backlash found here Eye Cups • rubberised and adjustable in three steps Housing • fits the hand nicely • sturdy, good quality rubber armour Other • objective caps attached to the housing • wide field of view (6,5°) • excellent minimum focusing distance (1.8 m)

Summary: The binoculars show very good optics and only some minor flaws concerning its mechanical and material properties. Even the backlash of the focusing wheel is acceptable, at least to my mind. Overall, these binoculars offer an excellent cost/performance ratio.
