Pros: I like its robust construction and his large eyepieces. Quality coating gives a very high transmission that makes the image shine. The lenses are extremely easy to wipe off thanks to Lotutec.
Summary: a really good pair of binoculars

Cons: Every pair of binoculars has its weaknesses. The weakness of the Conquest is the some chromatic aberrations on the edges and a greenish tint of the image.
Pros: After two years of intense use in nature and astronomy I am very impressed by this binoculars. It is very bright, has a very high resolution on the center and on the edges, and it is very robust binoculars.
Summary: Conquest HD 10x42 fully deserves the 7th place in the allbinos ranking with alpha quality but with a lower price

Cons: 1. I\'ve bought mine second hand but at first they were quite smelly (rubber). 2. The objective cover doesn\'t stay put. Not a big problem if you have a good pouch. 3. The oculair cover annoys me, but I found that the objective-flaps of the Swarovski Companion bins fit as oculair-flaps on this bin. 4. its quite heavy 5. optics are stellar, but need some getting used to: your eyes need to be in the proper position to get the maximum out of these bins
Pros: To me, these are not easy bins like the swarovski 10x42 I once borrowed (10x42 EL\'s of about 10 years old, bought at €1700,- if i remember correctly). But the Zeiss had higher contrast, brightness, colors had better saturation and sharpness was on par with, if not better than in the Swarovski\'s.
Summary: If you have a tendency to get a tad neurotic about ~€2000,- bins, on occasions conveniently left in cars that are not exactly safety lockers, if you are not a ranger using bins 5 hours a day, if you do want to keep the option of experiencing the utmost visual impression: buy them. Exceptional image quality, if used properly.

Pros: Keep it simple: tough, bright, sharp

Cons: -Poor colour rendition -Average contrast -High CA(even in the middle of the image) -Bad build quality. The parts inside the binocular are very rough machined -Focus wheel makes noise and works somewhat in steps
Pros: -Stellar light transmission, these are VERY bright binoculars -Very sharp -Lotutec coating is super efficient
Summary: I would not recommend this binocular. You pay a very big price for what you are getting in exchange. I had tens of pairs of binoculars so trust me when i say that you are getting much more for your money with cheaper binoculars (APM, Celestron Trailseeker ED, etc.).

Cons: It has weight 800g because it is filled with quality glass, and it has a very resistant structure!
Pros: Very bright and very crisp even off axis. It is a alpha bino with low price! Outstanding instrument!
Summary: once you have such a quality glass in your hands, you are no longer willing to be satisfied with less.

Cons: Can\'t see any
Pros: These really are a beautiful pair of binoculars. They handle really well and the balance and weight gives them a solid and dependable feel. The optics are outstanding. The clarity and 3D effect keep your attention constantly and compared to my Vanguard Endeavor EDII 8x42 (which are also very good) they are a league above. The accessories are may be over engineered when simpler more functional ones would be better but that said you can see that Zeiss excel in design. The rubber coating again is tough but attractive. Looking for wildlife in amongst the trees and brush is like watched HD television. Even though I have listed these at £1000 purchase price I actually got a really good Black Friday deal.
Summary: Can the Victory SF really be better......! ?

Cons: Objective cover fall quite often
Pros: Very strong instrument construction, with great image quality
Summary: It\'s the binoculars which I take with me everywhere, and that gives me bright and full of details images. The difference between this Zeiss Conquest HD and the more expensive Zeiss Victory HT is minimal.

Pros: Very crisp and clear even in low light
Summary: They are expensive but you get what you pay for. This is a top quality binos and should last for a very long time

Cons: A bit too hard to extract the eyepieces, you have to act gently to avoid the leakage.
Pros: Excellent brightness, very low CA, no distortion, natural color, without that fake excessive contrast and oversaturation of some overrated Chinese optics less expensive. Strong mechanical construction, with the right weight in your hands, it seems very durable. Very resistant to flare, especially in front of the sun, in the late afternoon...
Summary: For a long time I was looking for a pair of binoculars that would satisfy me like my venerable Nikon Sporting CF 10x50 from 1990, a big Porro design that is difficult to transport. Finally I found this Conquest HD. Very manageable and robust, more uniform and luminous, almost the same three-dimensionality! You have the impression of being immersed in what you see!

Cons: The quality of the accessories leave much to be desired. But unimportant!

Summary: All this in a very good price. Great pair of binocular.

Cons: Not yet
Pros: Has crystal clear view (Zeiss quality), with great contrast even very close from sunlight. I have not see any flare like in other binoculars!! I like very much the large visual field of Conquest, with performance up to the adge. They have a clear and three-dimensional image! Simply you can\'t put it down from the eyes.
Summary: This is my best pair of binoculars by far. They have outstanding optics...Zeiss knows how to do it!

Pros: Very bright binocular with excellent resolution even on the edge of FOV. No dostorsion.

Cons: Has a slightly rugged feels in the hands and lens caps could be better designed. Has a little bit green tone.
Pros: Even if this instrument has very generous FOV, it has clarity at least 90% of this, and has a confortable eye relief for all eyeglass wearers. Very sharp and contrast with excellent light transmission. Very resistant to flare. I like very much 3D aspect of the image, almost similar to a porro type binoculars.
Summary: A very solid pair of binoculars, with brilliant optics, nearly like alpha binoculars!!!...but at a lower price!!! I am very curious how to compare with the new Leica Trinovid, which is of the same price class.

Cons: - one eyepiece broken after some months - focusing wheel too lose after some months - unusable against the light (for example against reflections of the sun in a lake) because of excessive stray light - image quality very uneven (except of very good sharpness and contrast)
Pros: - very good sharpness and contrast - not too heavy
Summary: 3 years later, I cannot anymore recommend the Conquest HD 10x42. Compared with my Meopta Meostar B1 7x42, it causes headache during extended viewing because of very uneven image quality.

Cons: Some chromatic aberration at the edge of the field (but not bothering). Not so sharp on the very border of the view.
Pros: Ideal weight for a magnification of 10-times (dampening hand vibrations). Great optics.
Summary: Very good value, not far from a premium glass (but for much less money).
