Cons: Most of the cons are from what they are at 8*56 they are big and heavy and hard to fit into some chest rigs. Other than that I have not found any complaints but they are a specific use tool.
Pros: In low light they really perform I found these had real application looking into darkened forests from open ground and at night with just a little ambient light they allowed me to see things that were not possible with ether the naked eye or binoculars with less light gathering. The wings on the eye cups are excellent and allow you to focus on task well. At the price I paid they were outstanding value for the application which is night hunting predators in open ground or deer hunting in shaded tree cover.
Summary: Buy them on sale they are really good value, and use them for the intended purpose. Perhaps not for the hiker or light traveller but for a static observation or walking only with minimal gear they are excellent.
