User profile: Amateur
Cons: None that I can think of. Depth of field is a little shallower than I would like, but that is probably due to the 10x configuration.
Pros: Great build quality, top-notch optics and good ergonomics. No CA that I can detect, very bright.
Summary: Great binoculars for the longer distance views. I use mine for birding when I am at the reservoirs, or when I am looking at things that are a little farther out than my 7x binos will bring in easily. The optics on these are amazing, very sharp with good color resolution. The lens coatings seem to be better than the ED2, as I don't see any glare even when looking towards the sun. I have used them in wind, rain, sun and snow, and they work well every time.
