Overall
Owner since: 1 month
Price: 239
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Focus system could be better - not silky smooth - rough; some focus slack which require more adjustments; eye-cup design shows inconsistency, one side is smooth the other sticky; optical sweet spot is limited
Pros: Extremely high resolution and excellent brightness; very nice contrast possibly due to sharp transmission profile; solid build quality; quality accessories; extremely good value
Summary: For the price this is an excellent birding or general purpose binocular. The optics are not the level of Swaro or Leica but the [sweet spot] image resolution is outstanding and rivals some of the more expensive brands. Color is excellent. (Review is for the 2015 model)
