Cons: The rubber shielded eyepieces can irritate as they twist out of position a bit too easily. The central focusing is fast, but has little resistance. The left individual eye focusing is easily knocked out with the slightest of touches. The neck-strap is clever, but not field serviceable due to it being clips at each end. If the clips break, you're not going to be able to fix that in a hurry.
Pros: Well built and very good guarantee. Lens look good quality and has a white image. The case is nice and can hold a few other things as it's slightly big. Comfortable to hold. Shielded eye rubbers are good in strong sun (but also see the cons). Viewing looks fairly sharp to the edge (at least compared to my older Opticon compacts)
Summary: I would classify my SkyHawk pro 10x26 as above average and good value for money. But some things are disappointing for me on a personal basis. I like things with a bit of resistance. The Steiner's are a bit too smooth for me and the way I handle a pair of binos.
