Cons: - Heavy. Can not be used without the tripod. - The eyepiece is straight and does not allow looking at the sky above 30° above the horizont. So this design is really a terrestrial binocular. Little use in astronomy unless you design a binocular chair. - My instrument is not nitrogen filled.

Pros: - Impresive. - High quality optics - My instrument has a porthole to illuminate an internal reticle that can be seen proyected in the left eye. Nice to measure things.

Summary: - Mostly a terretrial binocular. - Dificult to use above 35° altitude.

Cons: Quite heavy and not easily portable but that's the way it has to be with these huge binocs.

Pros: Truly amazing build quality and optics. Water resistant and nitrogen filled. Built like a tank. Amazing light gathering oblectives making them ideal for astronomy or low light observations.

Summary: Simply the best! Clarity beyond belief and without doubt the best astonomical binocular available.
