Overall
Owner since: 3 years
Price: 650 USD
User profile: Semipro
Cons: 1. Soft neoprene rainguard. 2. Slight pink color cast noticed under cloudy condition. 3. Image not as bright, spectacular and sweet as Zeiss 8x56 FL. 4. Can't tell if it is made in Germany or elsewhere.
Pros: 1. High mechanical quality. Seems be able to take a lot of punishment. 2. Good optical quality: though a little bit behind FL, image still very sharp and clear. A very decent and effortless view. 3. The FOV, though not as large as FL, still good for 7mm EP glass.
Summary: A solid workhorse model. Should be better than any other non-alpha 8x42 glasses.
