Cons: Eyecups are loose and won\'t stay extended in use. Needed rubber bands wound round the gap between the eyecup and body to keep the eyecups extended which works very well but means the binoculars will not go easily in the case. Otherwise excellent build.
Pros: Larger than usual exit pupil for a compact. 7x26 is the right approach making them much easier to use than most other compacts. Great optics with an easy view. Very useable for birding.
Summary: Great value portable serious birding binocular.

Cons: Not waterproof, one of my 2 pairs had vertical misalignment.
Pros: Excellent resolution and contrast, especially for a compact. The shape and weight is very ergonomic and can be used one-handed in a pinch. The 3.7mm exit pupil means that the image is reasonably bright even in non ideal conditions and that eye placement is much less finicky than smaller compact binoculars.
Summary: Of the binoculars I've owned, this is one of my favorites because of its portability and ease-of-use. If it were at least water resistant, it would be almost perfect.

Cons: Strap attachment method, still not waterproof. Do not focus quite as close as the old Bausch Lomb model.
Pros: Resolution, contrast, clarity, brightness are all high enough for true usability in a compact.
Summary: For a compact, excellent.
